Piya plans a grand birthday party for Rano and is under the illusion that Bani must have been appointed as Manager
by Jai! When she reaches the hotel, a lady Mukti who is Jigyasa's bosom
pal, claims to be Tanushree Dasgupta who has already reserved a table
places her order for lunch with Bani. Jai reminds Aditya of Kiran
Jaisinghania, the daughter a rich industrialist, family friends despite
being business rivals, who had
married a middle-class man hailing from Mt. Abu. He reveals that these
three girls are her daughters and he can discern her class, elegance and
spark in their eyes especially Bani and that is the reason he is
helping them find their foothold in the notoriously cruel city of
Mumbai! Contrary to Jai's expectations, Bani lands herself in a soup
when she asks the real Tanushree Dasgupta to vacate the table as it has
been reserved by another lady and Tanushree understandably loses her
cool making Bani the target of her anger! Actually, this is part of
Jigyasa's ploy and her pal Mukti is party to this grand design of
Jigyasa seeking revenge on Bani for wanting to slap Saahil! Jai comes to
Bani's rescue and puts Tanushree in her place by booking another table
for her in an adjoining restaurant. Yet, Jai warns Bani that another
mistake like this would cost her this job that fell into her lap!
Jigyasa stops Bani from going to attend Rano's birthday party and asks

Stunned at discovering that Bani is employed at a hotel, Nishikant
retreats to his desolate spot by the lake and collapses in a heap! Troi
of worried sisters receive a call from the hospital where the doctor
tells Bani her father has been suffering from Cirrhosis
of the Liver for a long time and his condition is critical. Nishikant
breathes his last surrounded by his daughters and Bani is shocked to
read a public notice in the newspaper the next day where a person named
Khandelwal claims ownership of their bungalow unless Nishikant's debts
are cleared by his daughters. Bani rushes to meet their lawyer who gives
her a letter written by Nishikant regretting his ineffectual role as
father while advising her to approach an influential industrialist named
Jai Walia (Ram Kapoor) in Mumbai for help, assuring her that he will
would go all out to help the daughters of
his old friend! But Rano reacts violently to Bani and Piya's suggestion
they move to Mumbai and she puts her foot down and refuses to leave her
bungalow! Bani persuades her to accompany them as their bungalow has
not yet been sold but is merely mortgaged. Besides, Bani convinces her
that Mumbai is the city of opportunities and there is no harm in
assessing what lies in store for them. All three sisters leave for Mumbai and get an emotional farewell from their young associates.

Bani is shocked to see Rano in Sahil's embrace. She gets angry on both.
She tells Rano not to interfere in the wedding. Bani remembers the past.
Tony informs Bani about her dentist's appointment on 29th June. Bani
cancels her appointment. Pia asks Rano why she is so sad. Rano tells Pia
that she loves Sahil and he is getting married under family pressure.
Pia tells Rano to tell itto Bani. Rano tells Pia that Bani is against
their relationship. Pia tells Rano to speak to Jai. Bani realizes that
she loves Jai a lot. Bani tells Masi that she wants to send Rano to
Mount Abu, but Masi refuses. Rano tells about her and Sahil to Jai, but
it is not Jai who is listening, but Ranvir.

Everyone moves towards the
outhouse. Meera is about to open the lock, but Jigyasa comes and stops
her saying that the outhouse is in a bad shape. Jai asks Aditya to get
the outhouse repaired as soon as possible. Jigyasa is tensed about
letting anyone go in the outhouse. Bani does not find the key of her suitcase. Meera sends her to her room to get the master key.
There she finds Jai and feels a bit awkward. Jigyasa comes there and
announces that Bani's luggage is shifted to the room next to Jai's.
Aditya is getting the outhouse repaired. A neighboring lady comes and
tells that weird sounds come from the outhouse. Suddenly Aditya too
hears a sound. But on opening a cupboard, he finds a cat sitting there.
Ganga shows some drawings to Jai where Ganga ,Bani and Daksh are
together. Jai feels hurt. Ganga then shows him another photo of Jai and
Bani, which Jigyasa had given her. After Ganga goes to sleep, Jai tears
the photo in anger. Meera sees this and decides to clear the bitterness
in their minds. Meera send Bani to her room to get Pallavi's necklace.
Jai sees her there and gets angry.

Bani is shocked to hear Jai's confession about he being the father of
Pia's unborn child. Pia reveals to Bani that she enacted this drama so
that Jai Walia speaks the truth. Jai tries his best to persuade Bani,
but she walks away. Jai reprimands Pia for her behaviour and even slaps
her. Pia says that she did it for her child. Jai drives Pia out of the
house. Maasi overhears their fight. She slaps Jai and asks him to bring
Bani back. Aditya and Jigyasa argue over Jai and Pia. Rano is
heartbroken with Pia's attitude. And Sahil is disappointed because his
only trump card against Jai Walia is gone. Rano is shocked at his
attitude and says that she will divorce him. A tearful Maasi wonders why
such a thing should have happened! Length:

Jigyasa taunts Rano of being inauspicious for her son. Jai reprimands
her for being so rude. Bani has a bad dream about her child. Jai sees
her state and consoles her. Ranvir gifts Rashi a diamond ring.
Jai takes Bani to meet the doctor. Bani sees Pia at the doctor's
clinic. She hears her talking to the doctor about her money problem.
After Pia leaves, Bani tells the doctor that she would pay for her
bills. Nachiket pulls Laxmi's leg. Everyone is present at the breakfast
table except Rano. When Laxmi goes to call her, she finds a note in the
room saying that she has left the house. Aditya yells at Jigyasa for
compelling Rano to leave the house. When Jai and Bani return, Maasi
tells Bani about Rano's disappearance.

Pia tells Jai that she needs to visit the doctor as she was feeling
unwell. An angry Jai tells Pia that he will give her child all its
rights. Karuna wonders why Jai is creating hatred for himself in
everyone's hearts. Jai tells her that he is only continuing his efforts
to create anger in Bani's mind, so that she reacts. Ranvir speaks to
Rashi about the discrimination that Jai always held against him. But
Rashi calms him down. A party has been organized for Bani's sake. But
some Press people arrive there and gossip about Bani. Rano leaves from
office to reach the party. But she slips and falls on her stomach. A
reporter asks Rano about Bani's mental condition. Rano gives them a
strong answer. Much to everyone's surprise, Jai Walia enters the party.

Deb informs Durga that Jai has destroyed the slums. Seeing the
demonstrations on TV, Bani gets worried about her children. Durga goes
inside Jai's house despite Deb asking her not to. She steps on broken
glass but is delighted to see Atharva and Krishna. She escapes just
before Rano arrives. Rano sees the bloodied footprints,
and Krishna and Atharva point to Bani's photograph. Rano scolds Pia for
being selfish and asks her to take care of her child. Rano and Pia have
a fierce argument. When Bani asks Deb why he didn't tell her that
Atharva is her son, he replies that she would have lost sight of her
motive then. But Bani accuses him of not understanding relationships.
Jai tells Ranvir to gather all details of Deb. Pia says that Deb's three
sisters are his weakness and his strength is a lady named Durga
Dasgupta.

A new ACP Rajiv Mathur joins the department and plans to reopen Sahil's
case. But when he approaches Jai for co-operation, Jai insults him
saying that they should leave them alone. Jigyasa shows Rano's horoscope
to their family priest. The doctor calls Bani and tells her that she
needs 50000 rupees for Pia's treatment. Bani makes the necessary
payments. Rajiv approaches Bani regarding Sahil's case. But she refuses
to help. The priest comes home and tells that Sahil's death took place
because of some fault in Rano's horoscope. And a similar thing could
happen if Rano marries any other man. A fuming Jigyasa announces that
now on Rano will be under her control. The police get Sahil's post
mortem report which states that poison was found in Sahil's body at the
time of death. Rashi and Bani see Jigyasa paying a bribe to the priest
for preparing a fake horoscope. They threaten to hand him over to the
police, unless he exposes the truth of the horoscope before the family
